Yesterday, was conducted the last lighting tests of the new Observatory. The wheel stood out in a spectacular manner and it could be seen from many points of the city as a star under the night of Seville.
Seville will have a new icon in June and everyone will talk about it!.
SQP has chose the city of Seville as the setting for its new attraction, the magnificent of the dutch company, Dutch Wheels. With 330 tons weight and 40 meters high, the wheel will be installed in front of the Guadalquivir river, “Muelle de las Delicias”, close to the Aquarium Thi new wheel be able to host, in its 30 fully equipped cabins, up to 240 people. It will allow visitors to have a unique and different perspective of the beautiful views of the Andalusian Capital.
The components for the assembly were transported by vessel from Rotterdam to the Port of Seville, on April 5th. They reached their destination in perfect conditions without delay and on schedule.
After starting the installation procedure of the wheel on April 10th, SQP called together allthe Mass Media to officially announce the event. Mr. Javier Jorba, President of the Sequoia Partners Company, together with the President of the Port Authority of Seville, Mrs. Carmen Castreño, and Mr. Alberto López-Balcells, COO of SQP, visited the enclosure of the project.
Once the assembly of the wheel is finished, the place will be adapted to host a VIP area, a café, a bar and a shop.
